Vijay Nyayapati

Biography

Vijay Nyayapati is the founder of Computer Support Company Ltd., an IT company based in Auckland, New Zealand. Vijay brings over 22 years’ experience in the IT industry.
Vijay has been working with technology since the 80s when his dad bought him his fist 80286 computer that he had to share with his brother, during the MS DOS 3.x era. This naturally got him interested in pursuing an education and career in information technology.
After having worked in the industry for a few years and seeing that many small businesses were being overcharged for technology services whilst not getting the promised level of service, Vijay formed his company in 2004, with a different strategy to most IT providers. The business model used by CSC does not permit profit generated from capitalising on client technology problems. Instead, networks, desktops and servers are managed proactively to minimize downtime and save money for clients.
With the constantly changing security scenario and an overload of information available to small and medium-sized businesses, Vijay realised that SMBs did not protect their IT systems and networks well enough to prevent attacks and data theft. The security focus by many other IT providers was reserved for the ‘elite’ corporate clients. Therefore, he has made it his personal mission now toensure that SMBs protect themselves against this growing threat, without breaking the bank!
