Thom Garlock

Biography

Thom Garlock, Founder and CEO of IRAassets.com, is an author
and educator in the Self-Directed Retirement planning industry.
For over 25 years, Thom has guided investors to diversify their
IRA and 401(k) Plans, away from Wall Street investments, and
into tangible assets including Real Estate, precious metals and
nationally franchised businesses.
Thom has presented at various wealth conferences and has appeared on America’s
PremierExperts® TV show on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX.
Thom has been active as a real estate investor and developer in the Jackson Hole,
Wyoming area and in Southern California since 1985. A Jackson Hole resident since
1995, Thom and his wife Karen appreciate the natural beauty of Wyoming along with
its outdoor activities. They are members of: The Nature Conservancy, Trout Unlimited,
Rocky Mt. Elk Foundation and the Yellowstone Association.
Thom is the Managing Partner of Teton Land & Development Group, LLC, a real
estate development company, operating in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming market. The
company develops master planned communities, designs and builds award winning
homes, as well as commercial properties in Wyoming and Idaho.
In the 1980’s,Thom was fortunate to be an early pioneer in the Cellular Telephone Industry
Association and has been the principal in a variety of wireless communications
license-based ventures that have held and developed 55 Metropolitan area cellular
telephone licenses, and 9 Rural cellular telephone systems in the U.S.A.
