Business Career
As a student at UC Berkeley, Steve’s entrepreneurial streak led him to buy
distressed real estate and become a young landlord to pay his college bills.
At the age of 30, as CEO and major stockholder of AMOT Controls Corporation,
the world’s leading manufacturer of thermostatic valves and safety
controls for the oil and gas industry, he received a large degree of attention
in the international media for his business innovations and success in
shifting the corporate culture of 300 direct employees in the USA, U.K. and
Switzerland, as well as a worldwide sales network. After more than doubling
the company’s revenues and profits, at age 36, Steve sold Amot Controls
for a tidy profit and returned to real estate and other investment vehicles to
continue to build wealth.
Steve has made and lost tens of millions of dollars, experienced many successes
and faced many challenges, including a life-threatening illness.
Along the way, he discovered that what is most important is experiencing
inner peace, the true joy of being alive, and bringing love and fun to every
day no matter what the challenges are.

For the last 40 years, Steve Fox has studied in over 75 different schools of
personal growth. With the help of lifelong trainings in martial arts, spiritual
and psychological growth, innovative business principles, and continual selfdiscovery,
he has coached and advised people from all walks of life — CEOs,
entrepreneurs, millionaires, starving artists, and high-school kids – helping
them master the intersections of career, love, money, social relationships,
family, personal fulfillment and spiritual growth.
In the last few years, Steve has led several successful workshops in the
