Biography
For the past 12 years, I have served as the Dean of the
Realinvestors Academy, which I founded just outside
Washington, D.C.
The Realinvestors Academy is the nation’s only fulltime
training program with licensed professional staff
dedicated to teaching adults how to become professional real estate
investors on either a part-time or full-time basis. We also host online training
programs that are viewed around the world.
Prior to founding the Realinvestors Academy, I was involved in over $1.2 billion
worth of real estate projects, including representing the federal government
in the sale of over $500 million in real estate assets as an RTC and FDIC
Asset Disposition Contractor, and the D.C. government in the sale of the land
for the Newseum. I also worked for D.C.-based developers responsible for
developing over 3,000 acres of land and three office buildings.
More importantly, I have been personally involved in over $30 million in
real estate projects in the greater D.C. region, and in the process earned
the coveted CCIM designation from the Certified Commercial Institute
of the National Association of Realtors. In 2001, I had the pleasure of cofounding
the Greater Washington, D.C. Real Estate Investors’ Association
(http://dcreia.com); it has grown into the largest active real estate investors’
group on the East Coast.
