Successful Organizing Solutions (S.O.S.) was conceived as a business in 1999. Founder and owner Nancy Kruschke created the company to help individuals and entire businesses increase their effectiveness and efficiency through organizing skills and practices.
After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, Nancy began her organizing career with ten years of professional experience at American Express Financial Advisors. She earned her Certified Financial Planner Designation and in her first year assisted in doubling the district manager’s business and increased the business production of each advisor within the district. Nancy traveled throughout Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Upper Michigan training advisors and their staff in Practice Management to help them increase their business through the use of effective systems, client databases, and efficient paper and computer files.
Nancy’s passion for organizing led her to start her own business – Successful Organizing Solutions – (S.O.S.) so she could focus exclusively in this area. Nothing puts a bigger smile on her face than customizing the right tools, techniques, tricks, and systems for a client! She offers coaching, consulting, and speaking in the following areas: productivity, time management, paper files, computer files, office layout and organization, e-mail management, and ACT! contact management training.
Certifications include Certified Productivity Coach (CPC) and Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®). Nancy is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a founding member of the Wisconsin Chapter of NAPO, International Association of Productivity Coaches (IAPC), and several chambers of commerce.
She is the co-author of “Organizing Your IEPs” and an organizing tip book “Action Organizing Tips for Your Office—Ways to Get and Stay Organized.” Nancy appears regularly as the organizing expert on local TV and radio stations in Wisconsin. She has also participated in an episode of A&E Hoarders.

In May 2007, Nancy passed the inaugural Certified Professional Organizer® exam and became one of a small group of organizers to become CPO®’s. Certification is a voluntary, industry-led effort that benefits the members of the organizing profession, as well as the public. It recognizes those professionals who have met specific minimum standards; and they must prove through examination and client interaction that they possess the body of knowledge and experience required for certification.
In February 2010, Nancy participated in a three-day intensive productivity-training workshop. As a result, she is one of a select few who have become Certified Productivity Coaches (CPC) across the USA and Internationally.
