Biography
Michael G. Murray, CPA, MBA provides accounting,
tax, and consulting services to his individual and
small business clients. With a specialty in homebased
businesses, he provides done-for-you accounting
and tax planning. He has over 40 years of
experience in accounting and consulting. Mike networks
with many business relationships in the banking, legal and insurance
areas to help his clients grow their businesses. A creative problem solver,
Mike is frequently asked to assist his clients in trouble-shooting business
challenges.
Mike founded Murray CPA in October 1988. Prior to starting Murray CPA,
Mike held positions as accountant and consultant at a small firm and at a
large international firm, a CFO at a restaurant chain, and also held various
positions at a major distribution company.
Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting
from the University of Wisconsin, and his Masters in Business Administration
from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Mike earned his CPA
designation in January 1971. He has a passion for his family, clients, sports,
music, and travel.
