Biography

Recognized as one of Atlanta’s most effective personal trainers,
Meika Louis-Pierre has helped hundreds of Atlanta’s men, women
and kids jump start their fitness regimen and make wellness
a priority. Relying on more than a decade of experience in the
sports and fitness industry, Meika has empowered her clients
to lose weight, make healthier food choices and eliminate risk factors. Additionally,
her nurturing, yet no-nonsense approach has helped her clients build the confidence
they need to accomplish some of their most significant fitness and overall life goals.
Meika received a dual Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from
Florida State University, where she was heavily involved with the university’s sports
program. Upon graduation she accepted a position with the National Basketball
Association (NBA) before receiving her certification as a personal trainer and pursuing
a career as a fitness trainer and life coach.
In 2007, Meika launched South Atlanta Adventure Boot Camp, the first boot camp
program in the south Fulton County area. In 2010, she opened Fit Neighborhood,
Southwest Atlanta’s only Fitness and Lifestyle Coaching Center. Her rigorous
programs challenge and transform a wide range of clients, including stay-at-home
moms, student athletes and entire families seeking a dynamic program designed for
optimum results.
Meika is an active member of the Atlanta community and a former assistant coach
of the 2006 AAAA Georgia High School State Champion Girls’ Basketball Team. Also
considered an engaging local subject matter expert, Meika routinely speaks to
groups and organizations about health and wellness. She has been featured in Heart
and Soul, Enliven Atlanta, Atlanta Home & You, Atlanta Tribune and numerous other
publications and websites.
