Matthew Soileau
Biography
Matt is currently the Vice President and Director of Internal Operations at Silver Eagle Distributors, the largest private Budweiser distributor in North America. He is in charge of warehousing and loading for the distribution of some 50 million cases annually in the Houston and San Antonio metro areas. He began his tenure 20 years ago when he became Silver Eagle’s Director of Information Systems. After converting the company software system to current technology he added branch operations to his area of responsibility. Matt was also Director of Construction and completed Silver Eagles Headquarters building on I-10 and Washington in 1995 along with several other projects in Rosenberg and Cypress.
Prior to joining Silver Eagle he spent 10 years as Project Lead (MIS) for Browning Ferris Industries where he installed landfill management systems. Mr. Soileau began his career with CECOS International, a division of BFI, as an accountant in Livingston, Louisiana before being promoted to BFI corporate offices in Houston.
He also served as Chairman of the Montrose Clinic Board of Directors and was member at large for the foundation. Montrose Clinic now Legacy is a multi service community service organization.
He received his BS from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge Louisiana and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 1994.
Also President of SMC Inc and the General Partner of KPOD Limited Partners in Houston a real estate and fitness facility management group of companies. The group purchased a franchise from Anytime Fitness in the Friendswood area and Houston Heights. SMC Group is also currently operating a few same apartment complexes in the same area.
