Biography

Dr. Lorne C. Poon dedicated the first 20 years of his medical
career to thousands of patients in his home town of
Edmonton, Alberta as a specialist in family medicine. Dr.
Poon received his MD at the prestigious University of Alberta
and completed his residency at the University of
Western Ontario. In 2003, his passion for cosmetic medicine led him to extensively
begin studying cosmetic procedures including Botox ™, Dermal fillers
and Sclerotherapy for varicose veins.
His dedication to patient care easily transitioned over to cosmetic medicine.
Dr. Poon’s kind and caring nature was a natural fit for helping his cosmetic clientele
feel confident in the procedures and treatments offered in his new cosmetic
practice, New Image Cosmetic & Medical Centre, which opened in 2009.
Located in the heart of Edmonton on the metropolitan hub of 124th street. This
modern facility offers the latest advancements in cosmetic and laser enhancements.
A specialized family physician with an exclusive interest in the art and
science of cosmetic medicine and laser technology. Dr. Poon continues to actively
pursue ongoing training in modern techniques and procedures for skin
rejuvenation and leg vein treatments. He just recently attended the prestigious
F.A.C.E. meeting 2011 sponsored by Allergan to remain abreast of the latest
techniques and products available.
