For over 23 years, Lee Hyder has been helping families in Northeastern Ohio navigate the dangerous and confusing waters of financial and retirement planning through his Wealth Coaching Advisory Practice. Lee’s approach, design and
implementation to all of his custom strategies are engineered around each and every family’s unique circumstances.
There are not two identical situations when dealing with people, so there can be no two identical solutions when trying to solve a family’s retirement puzzle. Lee says, “I’ve seen way too many people get pushed into buying financial products from some commission-hungry advisor using fear to motivate and persuade their client into taking action.” Lee believes in educating each and every client so they thoroughly understand the ever-changing world we live in today and all the options available to them. Consumer education and awareness are so important to Lee that he has started teaching retirement planning courses at many of Akron’s colleges and universities. In an ongoing effort to keep his clients informed, Lee also conducts educational classes at least every six weeks for his clients to keep them up to date on current world affairs and necessary portfolio information. Lee has been seen on NBC TV and heard coast-to-coast on radio shows, and quoted in newspapers and magazines. Lee has been a sought-after advisor at many national meetings where he has been a platform speaker in sharing his unique and refreshing client focused approach to marketing, customer service, and practice-building strategies.
Lee and his wife, Lizzi, love hosting fun and exciting client appreciation events throughout the year. Lee says the best part of his job is hanging out with his clients outside the office. Lee says, “I love the ability to help total strangers find peace of mind about their financial futures and turn total strangers into lifelong friends.” As Lee is writing this, he is planning their second client appreciation seven day Caribbean Cruise leaving from Puerto Rico in March of 2014.
Lee is married to an incredible woman, Lizzi, who is a successful business woman in her own right. Lizzi helps women start their own Arbonne businesses. Lee’s son, Codi, is following in dad’s footsteps and is also in the financial industry at a local bank. Lee’s daughter, Jessi, is a yoga instructor in New York, and more importantly, a new mother to Lee and Lizzi’s first grandchild, Julian. Lee says, “Now, l understand the excitement I have seen for years in all my clients’ eyes when they talk endlessly about their grandkids.” When not working, Lee and Lizzi can be found riding roller coasters at Cedar Point at their beach home in Sandusky or visiting National Parks.
