Biography

Joseph Lam is a licensed Real Estate Broker, with a background as a business analyst, computer database specialist, information technology consultant and entrepreneur.
In 1990, Joseph founded Adtech Realty & Financial Corporation and served as the president until 2003. Mr. Lam operated a National Real Estate Franchise from 2003 – 2006. Currently, he is a Broker-Associate with Keller Williams Realty.
Joseph was the President for the California Association of Mortgage Brokers—San Jose Chapter. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Willow Glen Business and Professional Association. He is a member of the Education Committee for the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAOR).
Mr. Lam was a volunteer of “Project Banking” with the San Jose Unified School District on teaching fifth graders on “How to Balance Your Check Book.” He was a Facilitator of Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY). Joseph is also a certified Facilitator of ‘Ninja Selling,’ and a Faculty Member of Keller Williams University.
Mr. Lam holds a BS from Oregon State University, and a MS & MBA from Binghamton University (SUNY.)
Among the many designations he possesses are: the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), the Certified Foreclosure Specialist (CFS), the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the Certified Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), the Certified Computing Professional (CCP) and the Certified Home Affordable Foreclosures Alternatives Specialist (HAFA).
Mr. Lam is a Co-Author of the book title ‘Short Sale 911 Manual.’ A Homeowner’s Guide on How To Survive The Worst Real Estate Market in History.
Joseph enjoys reading, travel, cooking and good foods, horseback riding, swimming and a game of Chinese ‘mahjong.’ You may also find him frequently heading up a Meetup group, or giving a seminar on business development and how to invest in real estate.
Joseph speaks Chinese–Cantonese & Mandarin, and some Spanish.
