Biography

Dr. John Lhota is a 1985 graduate of the University
of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
He attended a six-year accelerated program for
dentistry in conjunction with Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute for academically gifted students, which enabled
him to obtain both his B.S. in Biology (minor in Literature) and his
D.M.D. dental degree within a span of six years. He also holds a
faculty appointment at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Lhota has been a practicing dentist in New York City for 25 years,
providing comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on conservative
quality care. Dr. Lhota is a distinguished member of the ADA, NY
County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Crown Council,
Sierra Club, and a supporter of the North Shore Animal League.
He lives in Manhattan with his wife, son, and two dogs, Yogurt and
Dancer, both pugs. He is an animal lover and is fond of music.
