John Dicks

Biography

Mayor John Dicks has traveled the World in his pursuit of “Living Life the way you really want to Live”. Early on he developed a plan to monetize his passions for travel and teaching others the secrets for a prosperous, happy and healthy life that can accompany financial independence.

Having lectured before audiences both large and small, John has shared financial and investment strategies with well over 1,000,000 people throughout all 50 states in America and several countries abroad, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. His expertise has led to appearances on ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX affiliate TV and Radio stations and he has shared the stage with such luminaries as Zig Ziglar and Brian Tracy.

John is an Attorney, having graduated from Florida State University College of Law after receiving his undergraduate degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. He also studied at Oxford University in Oxford, England. John is a Real Estate Broker and was a Senior National Instructor for the National Association of Realtors. While a Registered Investment Advisor, John was also a Senior National Instructor for the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute.

John is the author of several books and texts, including The Bookshelf Lawyer, Business Power Strategies and The Personal Financial Planner. He is an entrepreneur, having founded Synergy Communications, a marketing and communications consulting firm.

With a firm faith in his family and commitment to his community and Church, John focuses his energies on public service and helping others achieve their dreams. He served his home town as Mayor for 3 terms and works on a variety of Boards and Foundations.

Along with Sharon, his wife of 35 years (so far), John is most proud of and enjoys spending time with their two sons. One is a successful attorney with an MBA while the other is a fighter pilot in the Marine Corps and John is quick to note that they both are well on their way to “Living Life the way they really want to Live”.
