After graduating from Georgia Tech, Jennifer Holmes became
an accomplished research virologist at the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention in Atlanta — where she submitted

work in nationally recognized journals, including the Archives
of Virology and the American Journal of Epidemiology. In 2000, this Georgia native
hung up her lab coat to join husband Lliam at MIS Solutions, Inc., a Managed IT and
Cloud Services company he founded that serves the Atlanta metro area and, through
affiliate offices in the Chicago, Las Vegas, Boston, Clarkston, Massachusetts and its
partner network, provides coverage throughout all 50 states.
As MIS President, she leads marketing, communications and business development,
sharing effective business strategies to deliver the best business solutions for each
client’s unique environment and needs. Jennifer’s leadership and marketing skills
won her the title of 2013 Technology Marketing Toolkit Spokesperson for a nationallyacclaimed
industry group of over 550 top U.S. IT experts who share best practices,
marketing strategies, innovation and mentorship with computer and cloud service
provider companies. This graduate of the Leadership Gwinnett program has acted on
the boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Atlanta chapter,
Gwinnett Great Days of Service, the Buford/North Gwinnett Rotary Club and the
