Jason Wong is the Founder and Director of Youth Fitness
of Red Zone Training, The San Ramon Valley’s Premier
Youth Fitness Facility. Teaching and coaching has become
his passion, but he does not claim to have all the
answers so he is constantly studying. “If I’m not teaching/
coaching/training, and that is the order they should be in, I’m studying
and learning.” He primarily works with 3 to 13-year-olds of all fitness levels.
Jason believes that coaches who work with kids would be better served
by learning more about working with children instead of spending all their
time learning about the newest must-have training device/program. He also
recommends that coaches follow the ‘less is more’ approach when dealing
with kids.
Jason is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal
Trainer, as well as a Level 3 Youth Fitness Specialist and a High School
Strength and Condition certification holder through the International Youth
Conditioning Association.
