Indira Amladi
Biography
With an 18 year investment track record of 14.02% annualized return, and recently published in Forbes magazine for her forecast and strategy, Indira Amladi is the Senior Investment Portfolio Manager for Princeton Ivy Capital Advisors. Ms. Amladi trained with Dr Bruce Greenwald in Value Investing Executive Training at Columbia Business School, after 17 year corporate experience at Fortune 100 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter and Gamble and Kraft Foods.
Ms. Amladi also has a 17 year audited investment track record. After working in the corporate sector, Ms Amladi developed a “Shareholder Alpha Value Enhancement Drivers” (SAVED) database, a model that works across all sectors. SAVED-Metrics such as corporate “SAVED-score” are proprietary and remain unpublished, not yet discovered by Academia, or used by any other company in the industry. This model was later refined to “10 Pillars of Strength” containing Low Beta as an additional filter.
Ms. Amladi analyzed & provided valuations for 10 Large cap consumer companies as Consultant Sell-side Researcher for client Deutsche Bank at New York, NY (10/2009 to 4/2010). Prior to that, she has held several leadership positions such as new product commercialization for Post Foods, Parsippany, NJ (1/2009 10/2009); Director of Marketing as a consultant for Value Investor Media, Vienna, VA (1/2008 to 1/2009); Portfolio Manager and consultant for SIGMA and consultant for Unilever at Trumbull CT (7/04 to 1/2008); Associate Director Market Research/Oral Health Category, Johnson & Johnson PPC, Skillman, NJ (6/02 to 7/04); Market Research Manager for Kraft Foods, Glenview, IL (9/00 to 5/02); and Market Research Supervisor for The Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, OH. (6/93-5/98).
As Associate Director at Johnson & Johnson 2002-2004, Ms. Amladi analyzed and recommended candidates for acquisition or merger, and led Best Practice Innovation Processes. In those roles, she provided consultation to the Personal Products Companies’ Board regarding consumer insights, volume forecasting and commercialization of new product launches.
As a consultant at Deutsche Bank, on Wall Street in 2009/2010, Ms. Amladi conducted Valuation Analyses for 10 consumer-goods sector companies.
Ms. Amladi accomplished her CFA charter in October 2010. She received her M.B.A. via graduate-scholarship, magna cum laude, from Miami University, Oxford, OH, in 1992, with a concentration in Marketing and Finance. In 1990, she received an M.S. degree (Biochemistry) via graduate-scholarship from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. She also holds a B.S. degree (Biochemistry and Microbiology), First Class with Distinction, from University of Bombay, Bombay, India, 1987.
Ms. Amladi is engaged in foundation and charitable work, as the volunteer and co-founder of the Foundation for the Multiple Handicapped. Additionally she envisioned and was responsible for initiating Reliance Capital’s full sponsorship, hosting and organization of its conference for Columbia University’s Investment delegation to India. Reliance Capital is one of the largest mutual funds in India.
