A native of Brownwood, TX, Hut Allred’s journey into the world of health and fitness began as a standout athlete in all sports, especially football. He was team captain, named to multiple all-state teams, and earned an athletic scholarship to the University of North Texas.
While at the University of North Texas, Hut was able to continue his success on the playing field. He was a four-year letterman, team captain, all-conference selection, and was a Doak Walker nominee as one of the top Division 1A running backs in all of collegiate football.
Not long after graduating from the University of North Texas, Hut decided to jump head-first into building a career in the fitness industry. In 2000, Hut became certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and began training and coaching individuals on the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
Hut’s next project involved founding a personal training company in 2002, aptly named New Wave Fitness, Inc., which quickly grew to include a staff of 10 trainers and providing services throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Hut has personally coached hundreds of clients to reach their health and fitness goals.
Coaching and educating eventually led to writing. Hut has authored a fitness book for the Fit Corp USA company entitled “How To Get Maximum Results In Minimum Time From Your New Home Fitness Equipment” which is used to help customers of Fit Corp USA get the best results from their fitness products.
With his fitness expertise, as well as warm, friendly, and approachable character, Hut has become a captivating and much sought after speaker on the topics of nutrition and health. He has contributed articles regularly to E-fitness and other health related sites; his health and fitness writings have also found homes in two national magazines and several local publications.
Hut is now focused on expanding his company and currently does a tremendous amount of speaking, writing, and consulting.
