Biography
George W. Childs grew up in Pittsburgh, PA when the fire from the steel mills still matched the city’s passion for its football team. At Tufts University, he met his wife Miya and graduated Summa Cum Laude. George started his research career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and trained as an economist at the University of Pennsylvania.
He researched health care services for UPMC until 2002 when he became an entrepreneur for the first time. George grew his retail dry cleaning business to over 30 employees by focusing on serving his customers needs.
Today, George is The Guilt Free Sales Success Mentor, author of Successful Sales Without Selling Your Soul, a consultant for buyers and sellers of small businesses, an angel investor, and a mentor to anyone who believes deep down that you can succeed in sales without the fear that you are selling your soul.
George & Miya reside in Pittsburgh with their two children and a pet fish named Steve.
