Biography
Gary Steffensen, Peak Results Fitness
During his 25-year career as an alpine ski coach, Gary Steffensen
guided elite athletes to their highest results through program
design, skill development and motivation. As Head Coach/
Director of University of Nevada-Reno ski team, he led the team
to two national championships. Gary was a part of Western Region coaching staff and
National Training System for the U.S. Ski Team, during which he traveled the world
with many elite ski racers on the United States Ski Team, many of whom are now
current Olympians.
He is an International Certified Ski Coach, NSCA-CPT, Fitness Institute of Australia
CPT. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science at the University of
Nevada-Reno.
Since 2008, Gary has co-owned Peak Results Fitness in Flagstaff, Arizona where he
coaches elite athletes and “regular” people who are committed to fitness. His motto
is “Get fit, and change your life!”
