Biography
Michael Steinberg, DDS – also known as Your Favorite
Dentist – is a dentist practicing in Brooklyn, New York
since 1990. A graduate of New York University College
of Dentistry, he completed a residency in general dentistry
at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan, New
York. Dr. Steinberg has received extensive training in Painful Disorders of
the Head & Neck, as well as in Sleep Disorders and Dental Sleep medicine.
Dr. Michael Steinberg has authored articles on Dental Treatment of Migraine
Headache, Nutritional Support for Periodontal Disease, on Snoring and Sleep
Apnea, and on the connection between Oral Disease and Overall Wellness.
These articles have appeared in publications such as Bottom Line Natural
Healing, The Journal of the New York State Academy of General Dentistry
and Clinician’s Advisor. He has also lectured on these topics and continues
to do so.
Dr. Steinberg’s passion is to find and to provide for the dental health, and
thereby the overall health, of his patients and his community, using therapeutic
modalities that remain underdeveloped in the settings of traditional
healthcare.
His most cherished claim to fame is that of being the husband of Miriam
Steinberg for 25 years, and of being the father of daughter Adina, and son
Benjamin.
