Dr. Mariliza LaCap

Biography

Dr. Mariliza LaCap is a cosmetic dentist who has been
creating beautiful smiles through exceptional care in her
Bergenfield, NJ office, Washington Dental Associates
for over 20 years with her husband, Dr. Darren Tong. Dr.
LaCap and Dr. Tong first met in dental school at Columbia
University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. In fact they
were anatomy lab partners. Was it love at first sight? You’ll have to ask them.
After over 20 years of working together as dentists, they still share the same
passion for creating beautiful and healthy smiles. Their shared vision for
Washington Dental Associates has materialized into an exceptional dental
experience for their patients.
The experience in their office and their dentistry is so exceptional that they
are known as the “Mercedes Benz” of dentistry within their community.
Washington Dental Associates is a unique dental office where patients feel
comfortable, well taken care of, and safe.
Another passion they share together is their passion for each other and their
five children. Their free time is spent watching their sons’ soccer or baseball
games – they have never missed one yet. Currently, the family’s favorite
destination is Disney World.
Dr. Mariliza Lacap received her D.D.S. degree from Columbia University
School of Dental and Oral Surgery through an academic scholarship where
she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She also received extra training
in cosmetic dentistry at New York University Dental School. She completed
her residency at Englewood Hospital.
Dr. LaCap has also received advanced training in Dental implants, Cosmetic
Dentistry, Orthodontics, Full-Face Orthodontics, Invisalign™, Endodontics,
Gum Disease, Patient Management, and Restoration.
