Kerry White Brown

Biography

Dr. Kerry White Brown is a practicing orthodontist in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. White Brown has always had a passion for art and the healthcare field. In her mind, orthodontics was the perfect profession for her to marry her two interests and help create Sensational Smiles that would last her patients a lifetime.
She takes great care in providing the best possible patient experience in her office on a daily basis for all patients as they go through the journey of obtaining their one and only Sensational Smile.
Dr. White Brown returned to Columbia in 1998 to practice orthodontics after an academic career that reflects intense discipline and outstanding achievement. She received her undergraduate degree from Benedict College in 1991. After leaving Benedict, she entered Howard University College of Dentistry where she graduated with honors and was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Society. In 1997, White Brown received her specialty degree in orthodontics from the Howard University College of Dentistry.
Dr. White Brown is an orthodontist who takes pride in providing optimal care for her patients. She is extremely elated to be able to extend treatment to those patients who, under normal circumstances, would not be able to afford orthodontic treatment through her affiliation with the non-profit organization called “Smiles Change Lives” (an organization that identifies eligible individuals to receive orthodontic treatment). Dr. White Brown has agreed to provide free orthodontic care yearly to one child at each of her five offices located in Columbia, Florence, Orangeburg and Charleston. Lately, the number of patients receiving treatment has increased in her office due to the organization’s backlog of patients waiting for treatment.
Dr. White Brown is presently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, National Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, National Association of Professional Women and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
