Biography
Dr. John Fornetti began his dental practice in 1983, but his roots had been planted many years earlier. Dr. John’s father graduated from dental school in 1944 and returned to his hometown of Iron Mountain after World War II. There has been a strong family heritage of dentistry ever since. In fact, Dr. John’s son, Dr. Dan, is now the ninth Fornetti dentist, all beginning with Dr. John’s father.
Dr. John has been blessed with a powerful education which has helped him earn numerous diplomat and fellowship distinctions. He belongs to various dental organizations, is a public speaker on numerous topics and has privileges with both the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center and the Dickinson County Healthcare System.
After graduating from dental school at Marquette University, he and his wife Terese returned to their hometown to begin their family. They now have four beautiful children and one daughter-in-law. Dr. John’s favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, and backpacking.
