Biography
Don Lowry is a prominent member of the Maine trial bar
who has been engaged in the practice of law for more than
45 years. Following graduation from Brown University, Don
served in the Navy as a destroyer and submarine officer
before attending Harvard Law School.
In the early ‘80s, Don started a new firm, Lowry & Associates, concentrating
in helping people who’ve been injured in accidents, and this firm continues
with the same goal today.
Don is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association,
the Cumberland Bar Association, the American Association for Justice,
and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. He acts as a volunteer in Cumberland
County District Court in representing victims of domestic violence.
Don and Betsy have been married for more than 34 years and have 10 children
and 19 grandchildren.
