Biography

Dominick “Rusty” Bianca, Esq. is a practicing Trial Attorney
in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His firm, Bianca Law
Firm, is known for advocating the rights of injured
workers and representing accident victims injured due
to the negligence of others. In addition to handling the
trial work for his firm, he is also the lead attorney of the trial team for Waitz
& Downer, with offices in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Houma, Louisiana.
Rusty came from a blue-collar working class family where his mother was
a social worker and his father worked in construction. Rusty is a trial attorney
with a passion for the courtroom. He graduated from Louisiana State
University in 1988, and then took several years away from school to gain life
experience and work in the legal field as a Certified Legal Investigator. He
returned to school to obtain his law degree from Southern University Law
Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana – where he graduated in 2000, magna
cum laude. Rusty served in the Louisiana National Guard as an Infantry Officer
and in the U.S. Army Reserves as Transportation and Logistics officer.
He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves with twenty years of service after
achieving the rank of Major.
Rusty is licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana and he is a member
of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association,
American Bar Association, and American Association for Justice (formally
Association of Trial Lawyers of America). He is also a member of the Board of
Governors for the Louisiana Association for Justice (formally Louisiana Trial
Lawyers Association).
