Rochester Realtor Deborah Renna-Hynes wows real estate professionals when she travels to various offices in several states to hold office meetings on “How to be a Mega Agent.” Originally from the New York City area, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from State University Geneseo and a Master’s
in Education from Nazareth College of Rochester. She was a high school teacher for over 25 years before entering into real estate in 2003. However, her career as a real estate investor began over 35 years ago in the Rochester, NY real estate market.
With a strong desire to combine education and real estate, turning her career over to her passion was a logical choice for Debbie. It was a merger of two things she was very passionate about. Before she knew it, she was off to a very fast start in the real estate industry. Debbie attributes her success in the real estate industry to hard work and having proven real estate coaches. “I have always known that education is important in any business.”
A little over five years ago she started researching coaches in North America and stumbled across Craig Proctor, who is a top agent and coach in his field. Through Craig Proctor she was introduced to Todd Walters. With the help of her two real estate coaches, she quickly became recognized as a top agent in her area. She holds several designations, as well, making her one of the top teams in New York State. Today, she is the CEO of “The Renna-Hynes Team,” and is consistently ranked high for her accomplishments on the local, state, and national level. She has received numerous awards, including her most prized accolade: REALTOR Associate of the Year 2007.
Debbie has always been a leader and a teacher. According to Debbie, “I am a passionate people person! I’ve taught for over 25 years, and loved learning from my students as they learned from me. Buying and selling a home requires the same kind of passion and dedication as everything we pursue in life.” Her love for sharing knowledge is not only what brings her closer to her clients, but it helps spread the word, as she has shared the stage with many of the top speakers in the industry to tell her story.
Her first book, which she co-authored with her real estate coaches, Death of the Traditional Real Estate Agent: Rise of the Super-Profitable Real Estate Sales Team, says it all! With the addition of Ignite Your Life, she has taken another step to reach out to others and inspire them to their greatest potential.
Debbie has resided in Rochester, NY since 1978. She and her husband Jim, who is also a realtor, have proudly raised three sons. When she’s not selling real estate or coaching mega agents she volunteers her time with the Rochester General Hospital, TWIG Association, Veterans Outreach Center, and Children’s Miracle Network, and various other organizations that continuously inspire her. Some of her greatest joys come from reading, writing, cooking, and painting.
