Daron Destiny prides himself as the quintessential entrepreneur. After graduating from college, Daron embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that included successful concert promotions, record companies and independent film ventures. Currently he is CEO of Bedloo.com, the world’s fastest growing
social media voting platform. Daron is also the Publisher of the Moneymaking Opportunities Monthly Newsletter that was inspired by his friend and mentor, Don Perry, who published Moneymaking Opportunities Magazine for 50 years from 1962- 2012.
Daron started his investing career financing small, urban, hip-hop, coming-of-age films and selling them at Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video stores in the late ‘90’s. He turned one $30,000 film into $10 Million in worldwide home video sales and also sold his record label BOOMIN’ RECORDS to Scotti Bros./Freemantle Media who now owns the American Idol TV Franchise.
Daron’s most recent film investment project Confessions Of A Thug was sold to Warner Bros. Films in 2007, and won Most Innovative Film and Best Director in prestigious film festivals, and was the only hip-hop musical ever to be featured on the cover of Billboard Magazine. Daron is also an award-winning author as a contributing writer in the book series Wake Up: Live The Life You Love with Dr. Wayne Dyer, Mark Victor Hansen and Deepak Chopra.
Daron is the author of Angel Investor Success Stories, a book that reveals how numerous Angel Investors got in early and made hundreds of millions of dollars in profits with Starbucks, Guitar Hero and more. He is fascinated with outside-the-box investing and people who invest early in successful companies, and the vision it takes to know if something is a Billion-Dollar idea.
Daron graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Bethune-Cookman University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications. He is the youngest of three children and is an avid sports fan.
