Danette Gossett

Biography

Danette Gossett resides in Coconut Grove, Florida, just south of downtown Miami. She is the founder of Gossett Marketing Communications, Inc. and co-founder of Promotions Resource LLC.

Danette brings more than 30 years of experience developing advertising campaigns, direct marketing programs and sales promotions to her clients. Prior to starting her companies, she worked for New York advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi & Lowe Marschalk. Her corporate experience included National Advertising Director for Avis Rent a Car Systems, Inc., and Director
of Marketing Services for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

Her company, Gossett Marketing has been working with a wide variety of national and Florida-based clients for more than 20 years. They specialize in building loyalty, growing sales and incentivizing action that delivers results through sales promotions, promotional products, incentive programs and direct mail.

Gossett Marketing is a WBENC nationally-certified Woman-Owned Enterprise.
Her partnership venture, Promotions Resource LLC with Kevin Danaher, recently launched a new authority website: www.SalesPromotions.org. This marketing resource network is designed to assist businesses in understanding and creating effective sales promotions to increase sales now.

Danette has won a number of industry awards and recognition: EXPY Award from the National Association of Experts, Writers & Speakers, Gold Effie for Advertising Effectiveness, Hot Creative from Direct Magazine, Outstanding Woman Business Owner of Miami Dade County by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Bronze Award for Best Blog from the Promotional Products Association International, Top 100 Minority Business of Miami-Dade County by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Decade of Excellence from the Women’s Business Development Council of Florida.

Danette is active in the community as well, a past Chair of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Foundation of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Mentor for the University of Miami School of Business, Trustee and member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Good to Great Awards for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
