Biography

Before Chris’ formal education in health and fitness began, he was convinced that he would be happy making a living if he simply pursued what he loved to do – hang out in the gym and talk to other people about working out, eating right and feeling good.
With that in mind, Chris Weigel dedicated his collegiate years (1993-97) at Winona State University to earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, conducting extensive research and developing sport-specific programs for the Rochester Mayo Clinic, working various positions at local health clubs, and becoming certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Armed with this knowledge, he moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue his desire to help others as a personal trainer.
He quickly broke sales records for the Fitness Factory club chain in Dallas before incorporating his own athletic development company in 2000 – All-Star Development Systems, Inc. Chris earned certifications as a C.H.E.K – Certified Golf Biomechanic and U.S.A.T.F.- Certified Level I Track & Field Coach during this time, while managing a team of coaches who trained local athletes at their respective training facilities.
In 2002, Chris opened his first gym-type facility – Fit-Zone – where he continued to work with athletes and the general public alike. For five years he worked successfully as an owner and personal trainer, helping hundreds find success with fitness. He collected numerous other certifications during this time; becoming a C.H.E.K- Certified Level II Practitioner, C.H.E.K- Certified Level II Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach, and HealthExcel – Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor. This background helped Chris develop a holistic practice which addressed peoples’ emotional, mental and spiritual roadblocks to attaining their health and fitness goals.
Chris would next parlay this success into his next business venture in 2010 – Clairevista Vitality Club. This is what he now pours his passion for health and fitness into – managing most aspects of a club well-diversified in its approach and offerings. Chris and his team of specialists believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to exercise, nutrition or any other aspect of leading a fit and healthy lifestyle. For this reason, Chris’ team works together and provides a wide array of programming options to meet their member’s needs. This individualized yet holistic approach provides club members real solutions for getting fit, maintaining great health and living happier lives.
