Biography

Cheryl L. Clarkson is the Founder and CEO of Skin-
Health™, Inc. in Boston, MA. SkinHealth owns and operates
three medical spas which offer advanced skin
care, laser and cosmetic surgery procedures, and two
retail stores featuring the SkinHealth™ line of cosmeceutical
skin care products.
The medical spas are affiliated with the area’s most respected cosmetic
surgeons and dermatologists. The highly acclaimed SkinHealth product line
won the coveted Health Magazine award for Best Sunscreen and was selected
for inclusion in the Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG) celebrity gift baskets.
The products have been featured in Vanity Fair, Town and Country, Cosmopolitan,
Glamour and Health Magazines.
Cheryl holds a Masters of Science degree in business from the Sloan School
of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
At 39 years of age, Ms. Clarkson became one of the youngest women ever
to be named CEO of a publicly-traded NASDAQ company. She has served
as President of four highly-respected medical device and medical services
companies.
In addition, Ms. Clarkson has served on the Board of Directors of five highlyrespected
corporations, two of which were publicly traded and two of which
were sold to large, publicly traded corporations. She has been appointed
Lead Director, Chairman of the Compensation Committee, and has served on
Audit and Nominating Committees on these corporate boards.
She has been featured on NBC news on skin care and skin cancer prevention,
Fox News affiliates on the prevention and rejuvenation of aging skin,
and was featured in Fortune Magazine as a skin care expert. She writes a
beauty advice column, “Ask Cheryl” for several magazines and a blog of the
same name.
