Biography

Brian McConnell loves small business! He loves the challenge of taking an idea and seeing it generate revenue. He loves creating systems which help that business run on autopilot. Moreover he loves the freedom that comes from owning his own fleet of companies.
Brian graduated from Indiana University in 1996 and went on to earn his MBA from the top ranked Kelley School of Business in 2001. He joined Harris Corporation as a Sales Manager in 1999 and spent 9 years in Corporate America. During that time he was a three-time recipient of the President’s Award for “Significantly Exceeding” sales expectations and won multiple other sales awards.
During his corporate career, Brian realized that he was built for more than just driving sales. He found it more personally rewarding to focus on the strategic and financial planning aspects of running companies and creating long term value from their assets. In 2008 he dedicated all of his time to entrepreneurial endeavors and has founded or acquired eleven companies. Those organizations focus on diverse industries including intellectual property licensing, commercial and residential real estate, human dynamics consulting, B2B software, and consumer services.
Financial literacy is key to the approach Brian takes with his companies. He has acquired multiple organizations by finding value in them that their original owners either didn’t see or couldn’t attain. For example, in 2008 he and his wife Regina purchased a law firm called “Family Law Centers”. They immediately split the company in half, creating both an intellectual property company to license the “Family Law Centers” brand to other law firms, and a local law firm, which became the first licensee. Even though they later sold that local law firm (at a 440% ROI), the licensing company continues to pay them royalties every month.
Brian has always loved music. He is an active member of “Central Live” which is the worship band at Central Christian Church, a Las Vegas Mega Church. Their worship set rivals world-class entertainment options such as Cirque du Soleil. He regularly tours with the group and is credited on two of their albums. One of which, Love Can, hit the top of the Christian charts in 2014.
His greatest passions are his wife Regina and their three kids. Like most families with young kids, Mickey Mouse rules their vacation time together so they enjoy Disney Cruises, Animal Kingdom, and Disneyland. They also love to jump into a motorhome and head to the mountains for a weekend of hiking, skiing, or fishing adventures.
