Biography
Emory G. Cowan, Jr., PhD is a psychotherapist, educator, New
York Times bestselling author, and entrepreneur. An Army combat
veteran of the Vietnam War, he has lived in several countries and
traveled extensively throughout the world. He has a PhD in Psychology,
is a Marriage and Family Therapist, and was President/CEO of a graduate
school for ten years.
Emory is an Executive Director and owner of BNI of Colorado and Southeast Wyoming.
He has served BNI International on its Founder’s Circle and its International
Franchise Advisory Board.
With his wife Margie, Emory makes his home in Colorado where they enjoy the mountain
grandeur and visits from their grandchildren. They also live part-time in the Los
Angeles, California area.
