Biography

David J. Wages, M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in the Boston suburb of Peabody. He has been a physician since 1991. He specializes in delivering the “Mommy Makeover” procedures that help women reclaim their bodies after pregnancy. He spent time developing a turnkey practice
with an on-site surgery center. His practice also offers a full spectrum of non-surgical as well as surgical treatments including personal fitness training, skin care, and lasers. He is passionate about changing the way physicians are perceived, and has developed a solution for delivering excellent health care wrapped in a five-star customer-centric environment. He receives frequent accolades for his customer service. He has been the recipient of the America’s Top Doctor award for 11 consecutive years from 2003 to 2014 by Consumers Research Council of America. His ideas have been transformed and used in various practices from orthopedic surgery, cardiology, dermatology, plastic surgery, and internal medicine. His charity, Botox for the Cure, was founded in 2011, and raises money for breast cancer awareness through the sales of Botox. He is a member of a mastermind group that challenges members with new ideas to improve customer service in the medical field. He also mentors other physicians.

Dr. Wages is from Denton, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas, and went to medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He did his training for general surgery and plastic surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and then went on to an advanced Fellowship in Microsurgery and Hand surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he held a teaching appointment with Harvard Medical School. Nowadays he enjoys making snowmen during the long Boston winters with his family of five. Other hobbies include magic, trick roping, hiking, and spending time with his family in Boxford, Massachusetts.
