Damon Cockrel is a mobile strategist, entrepreneur, speaker and the author of the forthcoming book “Getting in the Pocket: Mobile Strategies for Business Success.” He has counseled individuals, professionals, businesses, schools and government agencies on mobile strategies for over twenty years.

Strategies for small businesses and educational institutions are the core focus of Damon’s mobility practice.

It took many small businesses way too long to take advantage of the Internet revolution. Now, we’re in a Mobile revolution and I’m here to make sure that business owners stay ahead of the game this time.

An exciting and dynamic speaker, Damon has a unique ability to convey complex ideas in ways that educate, entertain and engage. As a teen, he was a local television reporter and a scholarship-winning actor. After college, he toured as a bass guitarist and lead vocalist. It should come as no surprise that Damon knows how to charm an audience. Technical and creative, he often refers to himself as “a geek with a personality.”

Damon and his wife Christina live in Central Ohio. He is an alumnus of The Ohio State University and a member of the TBDBITL Alumni Club. A former competitive baton twirler, he enjoys donating his teaching skills to the OSU Marching Band Drum Major Training Program.
