Marc Cormier and Tania Ivey
Marc was born and raised in the hustle and bustle of New York City. He graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Urban Studies and Organizational Behavior. Marc is uniquely interested in the science of human behavior, which has allowed him to innately understand his clients’ needs/desires. He has even continued his passion through several post-graduate Executive-level business courses at Dartmouth University, Wharton School of UPENN and M.I.T.
Purchasing his first investment property at the age of 21, Marc has spent the last couple decades of his life immersed in real estate in several different markets in the U.S. Using his experiences from the Army (former Army Officer), as a negotiator, and as an Entrepreneur, Marc has developed an unparalleled ability to read between the lines in a consultation to deduce a clients needs and desires. Settling down in the Metro-DC area over a decade ago, Marc has used his sharp sense of understanding combined with dedication to always provide his clients with the most up-to-date information and strategies so that his clients have the best opportunity to secure the property of their dreams.
An accomplished Realtor®, Marc holds the distinctions of a Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE), a Certified Short Sales Expert (CSSE), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDREE) and many other Certifications. Marc has been recognized as one of the Top 1% of Realtors. He was also a runner up in the Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Tania was born and raised in the beautiful and lush Montgomery County, Maryland. She has flourished for close to two decades in the Metro-DC Residential real estate market. She is devoted to finding her clients their homes of their dreams and thrives off of these successes. Her long-standing career in real estate is attributed to her keen sense of understanding clients’ desires/needs and analyzing the available inventory to find the home that best encompasses both sets of characteristics. Intuition and instinct have allowed Tania to discover the location of the best homes, deals, and/or steals in the DC area. In real estate, experience and knowledge is what separates a good agent from the pack. Tania knows the best neighborhoods, the best school systems, and the homes that best suit her clients’ desires.
