John Mikesh

Biography

Originally from New York, John Mikesh has always had a passion
for all things stemming from the “home.” John has worked in
construction, interior design and the architecture fields before
settling into his real estate career in 2003, just after returning
home from a two-year mission trip to Mexico.
He instantly fell in love with the profession, finding that it was natural fit for his personality
and complimented with his ability to understand peoples’ needs, even when
they themselves may not. In addition, it used his past experiences, while quenching
his passion and interest for all things relating to the home.
After deciding he wanted to provide more for his family, John and his wife decided
to relocate to a more vibrant market with greater opportunities. In 2006, he settled
on the Lake Norman area, just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Since then, John
has practiced real estate, quickly carving out his share of the market. Year after year
he continues to be one of the fastest-growing realtors in his marketplace. Along with
being top 10 in the state for RE/MAX International as a single agent, his team now
resides within the top 25 on a regular basis. He has also been featured in multiple
issues of Charlotte magazine as a “5 Star Professional,” holds awards from every
training program he has been associated with and continues to set challenging goals
for the future.
One of his favorite quotes is from Abraham Lincoln: “Good things come to those who
wait, but only the things left over by those who hustle.”
John, his wife and children currently reside in Mooresville, North Carolina, and enjoy
being involved with their local church and many outdoor activities.
