and healthcare financial issues; lectured in university,

Upchurch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bradley

For over two years, he also worked for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, a
top Chicago medical center affiliated with Northwestern University.
Jeff started his own accounting business, Upchurch & Associates, in 2009.
Based in Chicago’s NorthCenter neighborhood, an established area experiencing
a youthful revival, this accounting firm focuses on the needs of individuals,
nonprofit organizations and small businesses. Upchurch also has
been a guest lecturer in Chicago at DePaul University, the Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine, and the Center for Nonprofit Success, as part of its
leadership series.
Jeff, his wife, their new daughter and adopted dog, Barnie, live in the North-
Center area. He is active throughout the north side of Chicago: volunteering
at the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club of Chicago carnival and the North-
Center Chamber of Commerce “Ribfest,” participating in networking groups
such as LeTip of Lakeview, and formerly serving on the board of directors of
