Dawn Tangri
Biography
Dawn Tangri helps her clients protect themselves and their families against both the inevitable and unforeseen financial stresses. Dawn has always been passionate about helping to educate people – first, as a K-12 Teacher, a Florida Realtor, and then as a Financial Representative for AIG Financial Network.
Dawn naturally gravitated to all of her fields out of a love for helping people understand life and how to live well.
Dawn followed in her father’s footsteps as an educator, and in 1991 received her BS Degree in Education from West Texas A&M University. She followed it with a notable 15-year teaching career. Dawn started teaching in Texas, then moved to Florida, in which she helped three new schools start their inaugural years in Orange County, Florida.
Dawn transitioned into Financial Services in 2011, and has been an award winning service provider from the start, having won the President’s Trophy in 2012 and 2013. She currently holds Licenses in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. She is currently seeking to work nationally in all States.
Dawn’s driving belief in Financial Services is that insurance is a valuable resource for families, individuals, and business owners. She teaches them about protecting themselves from unforeseen illness and accidents, so that they never have to go through what she and her family have been through.
Dawn has been a State of Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent since 2003. Dawn has also combined her mission and her entrepreneurial passions with her colleague, Nicole, to create a real estate business. They realized how the dip in the economy in 2008 destroyed people’s lives, and wanted to create a company that could assist people in selling their home quickly, especially in times of crisis.
Dawn also embraces the entrepreneurial spirit with each of her children, encouraging them to become business owners. One of her daughters, a junior in high school, is starting a non-profit that connects children in the foster care system with rescue animals in a pet therapy setting.
Dawn is also a member of WOAMTEC, and in addition is a member of WPN (Women’s Prosperity Network), Dr. Phillips-Metro West Chamber of Commerce, Southlake Junior Women’s Club, PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association), and Volunteers at OCPS(Orange County Public Schools). Dawn is a guest speaker and sponsor of the Future Investor Clubs of America.
