Biography

Dave Lee is an entrepreneur, optimist, and marketing automation pioneer. He was raised to believe that anything is achievable; therefore, his unique ability is to call his shot and “will” it to happen through strategy, execution, and undeterred persistence.
Dave used this ability to grow Infusionsoft from infancy to over $17 million in recurring annual revenue while creating the marketing automation for small businesses category. He then helped LeadMD, a marketing automation consulting company for medium and large businesses, grow from a startup to over
$3 million during an 18-month period.

In late 2011, having driven growth and success for other organizations, Dave decided to return to his entrepreneurial roots and co-founded SixthDivision and PlusThis alongside business partner, Brad Martineau. The companies help small businesses implement and take advantage of marketing automation principles and technologies. As CEO of SixthDivision, he grew the business to over $1 million in sales during its first year of operation.

In March 2014, Lee stepped down as CEO of SixthDivision to focus his efforts on growing PlusThis, a software company that builds products to enhance sales and marketing automation within entrepreneurial businesses.

Dave graduated from the Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University, with a Master’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Technology Marketing. In 2008, he was named a Warrillow Marketer of the Year finalist. Additionally, he helped Infusionsoft achieve the prestigious Inc. 500 award three years in a row (2007, 2008, 2009). Most recently, Dave has been featured on NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox television affiliates speaking on marketing automation and small business success, and was quoted in Forbes Magazine as one of America’s PremierExpertsTM. He has also been featured in CNBC, Reuters, MarketWatch, and Yahoo Finance, among other notable news outlets throughout the country.

Dave has been happily married for nearly two decades, and has three young boys who keep him on his toes. When he’s not helping businesses succeed or spending time with family, he fills his life with service, heli-skiing, wakesurfing, kiteboarding, doing what’s right, and getting things done.
